Giving back this season. Shafik’s 2025 contribution to the Richmond Christmas Fund helps brighten Christmas for local families, and together here at RE/MAX we were able to raise $12,420.

Steveston Salmon Festival Parade 2025

On July 1st, 2025, Shafik and his team proudly returned to the streets of Steveston Village to celebrate Canada Day as part of the iconic Steveston Salmon Festival Parade. From decorating the convertible with Canadian flags to handing out patriotic tattoos and giveaways, the Shafik Ladha Team brought energy, joy, and community spirit to the event. It was a beautiful morning of smiles, celebration, and connection, highlighting the team's long-standing support for local traditions and Richmond families.


Steveston Salmon Festival 2024

We had an amazing time once again at the Steveston Salmon Festival Parade! Our team came together to celebrate Canada Day with the community, handing out bags, sharing smiles, and proudly showcasing the Shafik convertible. It was a joyful day full of sunshine, red and white spirit, and meaningful connections with our neighbors. Thank you, Steveston, for your continued warmth and support!

 STEVESTON SALMON FESTIVAL VIRTUAL PARADE

The Shafik Team has always enjoyed celebrating Canada's birthday with our community in the Steveston Salmon Festival Parade every year.  Even though the Steveston Parade will be a virtual event in 2021, we continue to be one of the proud sponsors of this festival. Check out the video we made for the amazing event!

Pumpkin Giveaway Client Appreciation Event

This year we decided to try something new for our client appreciation event. One of my favourite holidays is Halloween so we decided to give away free pumpkins. We ordered pumpkins from a local farm, and on a beautiful Sunday in October, we set up my text, had some hot chocolate and had a great day! We thoroughly enjoyed seeing our clients and meeting some new people!


 STEVESTON SALMON FESTIVAL PARADE

Since 2013, I have been participating in the Steveston Salmon Festival Parade on Canada Day. I bring out my team and my whole family. I hand out branded bags and the crowd goes crazy. The first year we did it we got 1,500 reuseable shopping bags and each year we have been doubling the amount we handed out.

COLDEST NIGHT

It’s been my honor and privilege to be associated with Chimo and the Coldest Night of the Year as one of the lead sponsors since it was initiated in 2017 in Richmond. Our partnership has been so rewarding in so many ways, not only for the community that I call home, but for my team and my family to participate and know that we are making a difference in the lives of everyday people.

The Coldest Night of the Year focuses on the homelessness in our community. An estimated 235,000 Canadians experience homelessness every year, and hundreds of thousands more face the constant challenge of living right on the edge.

People in your community. Neighbours down your street. Kids you see every day. A family member you love. Adults, youth, families, the elderly. Maybe you?

CLIENT APPRECIATION FOOD TRUCK

Instead of doing the usual Family Movie day, I hosted a picnic lunch at my house in Riverdale. This year we had the award winning food truck Le Tigre cater the event. My team and I had a chance to show all our clients in the area how much we appreciate them.

 FAMILY MOVIE DAY 2013

As part of their commitment to the community, Shafik, his team and RE/MAX Westcoast host a Family Movie Night each year to show their appreciation to their wonderful clients. Family Movie Night is an opportunity for current and prospective clients to bring their families together and enjoy a day out. This fun filled day includes live entertainment, balloon artists, magicians and of course, some great movies.
